Contextual menu in the Dock
If the System Preferences icon is in the Dock, move the pointer to it and right-click to call the context menu:
Select the desired element.
Search in Spotlight
Any element of System Preferences can also be found by searching Spotlight. Example:
Keyboard shortcuts
Some tools can be accessed using keyboard shortcuts:
Alt+(F1 or F2) - Monitors
Alt+(F3 > or F4) – Mission Control
Alt+(F10 or F11 or F12 ) - Sound
Adding icons to the Dock
You can add the desired icons to the right side of the Dock (where Stacks and Cart). Why in Finder using the key combination Shift+Cmd+G go to the directory :
and drag the desired tools to the right side of the Dock, for example:
